St. Catherine's recap and CBB/CUSA notes

Not much to say about this game. We were able to easily win over a weak non-D1 opponent by 35+ points. That being said, we didn't play too well in the 1st half and St. Catherine's kept it pretty close for a little while in the 1st half until we pulled away in the 2nd half. USM got a solid game from Boardingham, 23 points and 4 boards. Matt Bingaya also made an impact by adding 19 points. Next up is a game at Western Kentucky on Wednesday. Could be a tricky game as WKU is undefeated at home this season (however, it should be noted that their home schedule as of now is very weak).

CBB/CUSA notes

Rough day for C-USA. The only two wins in the conference were both against weak teams (ECU beat NC A&T and USM beat St. Catherine's).

LaTech lost to Oklahoma State in an early game today. Bulldogs kept it kinda close for a little while but OklaSt pulled away late.

Florida Atlantic nearly pulled off an upset at Maryland but fell short 66-62. Owls showing some improvement over the last few games.

Tulsa fell 101-91 to Oklahoma. Sooners outscored the Hurricane 34-19 at the FT line.

Middle Tennessee lost to Ole Miss in Oxford by 9. The Blue Raiders were only down by 3 with under a minute but Marshall Henderson nailed a 3 with about 30 seconds left to seal it for the Rebels.

Marshall was defeated by West Virginia (by 10) at a neutral site game in Charleston, WV. Not a great loss for the Herd as the Mountaineers aren't that good this year.
